Wholesale Pine Straw for Metro Atlanta

Every subdivision entrance, office park and front bed in metro Atlanta seems to need straw twice a year. We haul premium longleaf up I-75 by the semi-load for the lots, nurseries and supply yards that keep it on hand.

Built for lots that move a lot of straw

In the spring rush a busy Atlanta lot can go through straw faster than anybody planned. What matters is bales that look right on the rack and a truck that shows up when it is supposed to. We hand-bale on metal box balers, so every bale is square and tight, and we schedule loads ahead so you are not calling around when you run low.

Long needle, no slash

Several Atlanta-area cities and counties write “long needle pine straw, no slash” right into their bid specs, and HOAs and property managers ask for it the same way. Longleaf is all we bale, so you never have to explain to a customer why the straw looks different this time.

How delivery works

Metro Atlanta is about a three-and-a-half-hour run from Sylvester, so most Atlanta deliveries are full semi-loads, with half loads available.

Every delivery is scheduled ahead of time. Tell us about your site up front — gate width, turnaround room and who is unloading — and we will plan the drop around it.

On full semi loads, ask about a trailer drop: we leave the loaded trailer at your lot so your crew can unload on its own time, then swap it for the empty when the next load comes.

Common questions

When should we line up spring straw?

Before the rush. Lots that set a standing order in late winter are covered when March hits, and the schedule can move up or down with a phone call.

Square bales or round rolls?

Both, and both are longleaf. Square bales suit rack display and customers loading their own trunks. Round rolls suit crews covering big ground.

How do I get a price?

Send your delivery ZIP and roughly how much you expect to move. Price depends on quantity and how far it travels, and distance is built into the load price, so you get a landed number for your site.
