Longleaf Pine Straw for the Carolinas
The Carolinas put down a lot of pine straw, and the lots and supply yards there are particular about what they sell. We haul premium longleaf from South Georgia by the semi-load to Columbia, Charleston, Greenville, Myrtle Beach, Charlotte and Raleigh.
Plan the season, not just the next load
Columbia is about five hours from Sylvester and Charlotte is closer to six or seven, so the lots and yards that do best with us plan ahead. Tell us how much you expect to move from spring through fall, and we will set a standing schedule of full loads and adjust it with a phone call when the weather speeds things up or slows them down.
What lands on your lot
Premium longleaf, hand-baled on metal box balers, so every bale is square, tight and the same as the one before it. Round rolls are available for crews covering big ground. Both hold their rust color well into the season.
Towns we deliver to
Do not see your town? Ask anyway — if it is anywhere in the Southeast there is a good chance we can get a load to you. See the full service area.
How delivery works
Deliveries to the Carolinas go out as full semi-loads. Every load is scheduled ahead of time, and a standing order is the easiest way to keep a lot covered this far from our fields.
Tell us about your site up front — gate width, turnaround room and who is unloading — and we will plan the drop around it.
Common questions
How far ahead should we book?
For spring, set your standing order in the winter. For fall, in late summer. The earlier we know your numbers, the easier it is to keep you covered.
Why buy straw from Georgia?
Because it is longleaf, baled tight and consistent, and priced landed at your ZIP. Get a number and compare it.
How do I get a price?
Send your delivery ZIP and roughly how much you expect to move. Price depends on quantity and how far it travels, and distance is built into the load price, so you get a landed number for your site.
