Pine Straw for South Georgia Lots and Nurseries
This is home ground. Our straw comes off fields in and around Worth County, so most of South Georgia is a short haul from where it is baled.
Supplying the lots closest to home
Pine straw lots, nurseries, garden centers and landscape supply yards across South Georgia sell a lot of straw in spring and fall, and they need it to look the same from the first bale to the last. We hand-bale every bale on metal box balers, so what lands on your rack in March looks like what lands there in October.
Being this close helps with timing, too. When a run of good weather empties your lot faster than you planned, a short haul is a lot easier to fit in than a load headed three states away.
Towns we deliver to
Do not see your town? Ask anyway — if it is anywhere in the Southeast there is a good chance we can get a load to you. See the full service area.
How delivery works
We sell mainly by the semi-load. This close to home, smaller orders are easier to work in, depending on the season and where you are, so ask.
Every delivery is scheduled ahead of time. Tell us about your site up front — gate width, turnaround room and who is unloading — and we will plan the drop around it.
On full semi loads, ask about a trailer drop: we leave the loaded trailer at your lot so your crew can unload on its own time, then swap it for the empty when the next load comes.
Common questions
Is it longleaf or slash?
Longleaf only. We stopped carrying slash, so every bale we deliver is the long-needle straw.
Can a nursery or garden center set up a standing order?
Yes. Tell us your weekly turn in the busy months and we will build a delivery schedule around it, then adjust it with a phone call when the weather changes things.
How do I get a price?
Send your delivery ZIP and roughly how much you expect to move. Price depends on quantity and how far it travels, and distance is built into the load price, so you get a landed number for your site.
